Valley Projects

The Yampa Valley is home to working ranches, homes, mountain retreats and recreational areas. Two ski areas, four Colorado State Parks, hot springs, lakes, rivers including the Yampa River, and trail systems cater to a plethora of outdoor activities throughout the entire Valley.

Town Projects

Alpenglow

Alpenglow consists of loft condominiums, townhomes and street-level commercial/retail space at 601 Lincoln Avenue in downtown Steamboat Springs. The Alpenglow project offers 8 different loft condominiums throughout the second and third floors of the Alpenglow BuildingThe Alpenglow Row town homes consist of six separate lofted live/work residences with 1681 square feet of living space and 281 square feet of commercial space.

Barn Village

Barn Village is a proposed mixed-residential neighborhood on 40 acres located south of Fish Creek in the Mountain/Fish Creek area of Steamboat Springs. The proposal includes the preservation and conversion of the historic More Barn property into a public park. Finally, the plan proposes a variety of housing types and densities, including single-family, duplex, and multi-family residential lots.

Boathouse

Boathouse plans include renovations of a Yampa Street building in downtown Steamboat Springs to create a downstairs pub and restaurant and an upstairs residence.

Bud Werner Library

Bud Werner Library opens for summer 2008 with inviting public spaces and vibrant collections. The library is seeking a Silver LEED** certificate, to become the first public library in Colorado to achieve such a high level of certification.

Howelsen Place

Located at the site of the famous Harbor Hotel at 7th and Lincoln, Howelsen Place is THE address of Old Town Steamboat. Two buildings will offer retail, residential and office space and will be nerve central to the community. Designed by one of Chicago's most prestigious architectural firms, the award-winning Antunovich and Associated, Howelsen Place will feature 35 residential units set among a very high energy retail environment.

The Olympian

The Olympian, located in the heart of historic downtown Steamboat Springs, is just steps away from the bike path and Yampa River, the last remaining free-flowing tributary to the Colorado. The 41,000-square-foot project includes 23 residential units and 5,700 square feet of commercial space, blending Steamboat's past and future with brick and stone elements matching other downtown landmarks.

River Walk

River Walk is one of the last remaining developable parcels in the Old Town community with significant size and river frontage. The conceptual visioning process for the site is driven by the availability of 760 feet of Yampa River frontage and the day lighting of Spring Creek. The concept for River Walk is to create a high-density residential environment with a less intensive commercial/retail extension of the Central Business District.

The Victoria

The Victoria offers seven picturesque residences, plus retail and office space. Industrial steel awnings coupled with brick and Colorado buff stone accents are part of what garnered The Victoria public recognition from the city Historic Preservation Advisory Committee of how new construction can be nicely compatible with a historic setting.

Valley Projects

Marabou

Marabou is a unique ranch preservation community being created in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Planned for only 62 custom homesteads on nearly 1,800-acres of active ranchland, Marabou will remain a working cattle ranch.. With 1,325 acres of the ranch preserved as open space, homesteads exceed six acres and are priced from $1.8 to $5 million.

Steamboat 700

Still in the planning stages, Steamboat 700 occupies 700 acres west of Steamboat Springs, with the plan to build a “new community within a community.” Quality with affordability for local residents is the goal of Steamboat 700.
