Tying It All Together
A sweeping array of public improvement projects at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area will be putting the finishing touches on an area that people have loved for decades.
The City of Steamboat Springs passed an urban renewal authority in 2005 to spark redevelopment of the base area. So far, $23 million in Steamboat Unbridled revitalization projects are underway. The combination of public and private investment in the base area will recreate the winter and summer experience in Steamboat.
